Regional Pricing Manager, Nordic and Baltic region

Regional Pricing Manager, Nordic and Baltic region

- Develop our new regional function in close cooperation with sales management

The Pricing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the global pricing strategy in the Nordic and Baltic geographical region. You will work closely with the Region Head and it is expected that you take lead in the sales organization according to the pricing process. He/she will be part of the regional sales management team and work in close cooperation with the Regional and Local Sales management and the Global Pricing department.
Furthermore, the Regional Pricing Manager will make sure that committed prices are connected to the budget and that each country price model is transparent and optimized. The role also includes to monitor the price levels across the countries and brands and to reward performance in Husqvarna’s sales channels as well as having control of the price leakage. You report to the Vice President, Sales and Service Nordic and Baltic, and travelling within the Nordic region is a natural part of the job. The position is new within Husqvarna and you will be part of building up the function in cooperation with the Global pricing function and the sales organization. The role is placed in Copenhagen or Huskvarna (Sweden).

The key objectives are: 

  • Support the Vice President Sales in securing net sales and gross profit.
  • Support and validate the business intelligence in the regions.
  • Driving business analysis for the Vice President Sales
  • Close collaboration with Sales Management to strive for price optimization and harmonization across the countries for the specific region, thus ensuring a market driven pricing strategy.
  • Participate in the global pricing councils to work through the international reference prices.
  • Monitor  the price waterfall from Recommended Reseller Price to Pocket margin in retail, dealer and distributor sales channel, discuss and develop concepts for well-structured reward system in all channels - if necessary.
  • Support set-up/ launch and evaluation of campaigns in the region
  • Comment on the quarterly price development follow up reports, verses last year, competitors and commitments.
  • Responsibility for that the price management in the price handling system, PHS and PHS ++ are correctly managed

We are looking for you with a strong business acumen and strive to work as close to the business as possible, and you enjoy working with different stakeholders. You have a Master Degree in Business Administration or equivalent and qualified experience from Business Controlling, Price Management or similar in a sales organization within a large company group with different brands and sales channels.
It is not a requirement that you have worked with pricing, but you understand the importance of qualified pricing as an important driver of profitability and have worked towards different markets. You are an experienced user of Excel, Power pivot and Access database. Professional in Danish or Swedish and professional English languages skills is a must.
