Delaval is now looking for a Manager to lead the department Technical Administration within Business Area Shared Services.

The Technical Administrations team (TA) is responsible for support, development and administration of systems for PDM/PLM, Mechanical and Electrical CAD and standard components introduction at DeLaval globally. The team also works with administration of Material Standards.

The team hosts the business ownership for the PDM/PLM application ARAS Innovator and works with constant improvements cross-functionally in order to contribute to the success of DeLaval. TA team consists of 4 System Specialists and Application Owners and is located at DeLaval International head office in Tumba, Sweden.

As Manager for TA you will be part of BA Shared Services Management team and will also have cooperation with IT department, development projects and product and engineering departments to align on strategic business priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Personnel responsibility; manage, lead and coach the team of Specialist and Application owners for ARAS Innovator PDM/PLM, CAD (Solid Edge and OrCad) and Component engineer.
  • Responsibility for cost center budget.
  • Identify, evaluate and manage Delaval business requirements and competence needs for the different systems and support areas.
  • Strategic planning and realization of business priorities
  • Ensure development and maintenance of well documented processes to support and guide the organization.
  • Together with the team proactively ensure uptime of tools and systems.
  • Accountable for training and guidance of the organization in processes related to PDM/PLM and CAD.
Experience and Skills:
  • Minimum of 3 years of working experience in a Management position, preferably from aninternational industrial or product development environment.
  • Strong business acumen and extensive experience from Product Life Cycle Management and Quality Management with good understanding of the product development process.
  • A strong background in working with management of PDM/PLM applications, specific knowledge of ARAS Innovator is an advantage.
  • Strong capability to interact and facilitate communication and cooperation with different teams and departments in an organization to achieve desired business results.
Personality traits needed:
  • Driven and highly motivated leader with strong leadership ability
  • Passion for realization of business requirements through technical solutions.
  • Fluent in English - written and spoken.
  • Occasional domestic/international travel is required.
