We are looking for an influential and committed Procurement Manager with strong analytical and planning skills to join the Diaverum group.

Reporting to our VP Supply Chain, you will play an active role, establishing and maintaining a competitive set-up, and fit-for-purpose procurement processes within Diaverum. As our Procurement Manager you will ensure high focus on financial performance within supply and services. The position is based in our office in Gothenburg.

Key Areas of responsibility

Procurement
  • Participate in developing and establishing processes and supportive documentation as well as Policy and Procedures related to procurement department.
  • Participate in developing and establishing category management and drive assigned categories.
  • Prepare, support and complete contract negotiations with assigned suppliers.
  • Contract management in accordance with Diaverum standards.
  • Identify cost saving and price reduction opportunities and initiate activities to implement.
  • Responsible for the price lists of consumables/machines.
Supply Chain Management
  • Participate in developing and establishing the “3rd supplier” strategy.
  • Support the development of global vs regional/local supplies.
  • Owner of the supplier’s assessment process, keeper of the procedure of qualification of new products, machines and suppliers.
  • Participate in finding and coordinating introduction of new products.
  • Responsible for the product specification catalogue (on-line tool): drawings/specifications and other technical information from suppliers.
Requirements

Education:
  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in fields of supply chain, engineering, or manufacturing
Experience:
  • Excellent negotiation and strong communication skills
  • Minimum 5 years in a procurement organization
  • Experience in multinational company, healthcare is a plus
  • Experience from procurement of capital equipment is a plus
  • Category management/Key account management is a plus
  • Strong networks
Languages:
  • Superior command of written and spoken English
IT:
  • MS-Office package, E10 Management is a plus
Personal characteristics
