This is a consulting assignment through The Pace/Wise Professionals. The start of the assignment is in August and will most likely last until February 2022. It is a full- time job and the role is located in Gothenburg but you have the opportunity to work remote.

You will be part of a logistic team where you will support your team with administrative tasks. The Source Managers and you will report to the Director of the department.

Your main responsibilities
This position will enable the logistic team to operate during a period with less sourcing managers than planned for the current scope of the category. Target is to reduce the manual work for the sourcing managers and avoid and facilitate that sourcing process continues undisturbed. Purpose of the job is to support purchasers/users in administrative task related to the category work, documentation and support in meetings and follow up and performance monitoring. The role is critical to ensure deliveries from the sourcing category.

As a Purchasing Assistant your tasks include:
  • Contract management support
  • Administration, creation and implementation of contracts
  • Supplier support and performance follow-up
  • System data maintenance
  • System data updates like contracs, price lists, outline agreements etc.
Background and skills
In order to succeed in this role, you have minimum 1-2 year of experience within the field of supply chain management, purchasing, sourcing, finance, logistics, demand planning or sales. Your proficiency is based on a relevant area. You have very good knowledge in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. If you have also worked in SAP (Carrier Point, Fenix, WPS) that is an advantage. You are fluent in written and spoken English and if you also speak Finnish, Swedish and/or German those languages will give you an advantage.

You are a solid team player with ability to work independently and in an international context with flexibility and ability to adapt to an always changing work environment. You can work with different administrative tasks in an effective, efficient and well-structured way which ensures high quality. We also value your ability to be proactive, result oriented and willing to take initiative and responsibility to reduce total cost.
