Damco is part of the A.P. Moller Maersk Group and one of the world's leading providers of freight forwarding services. For more than 100 years, we have been providing our customers with transportation and logistics solutions that support the way they want to do business. We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our commercial team in Sweden. Here you will be given a key position to grow and further develop our commercial activities. As an individual contributor you'll have many challenging task with high exposure to the business. The position will be in Gothenburg or Stockholm. Key responsibilities As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial and financial development of Damco's product portfolio within Ocean freight and Airfreight. You will deliver planned levels of new and additional business from targeted as well as existing customers. * Accountable for business development through the presentation and sale of Damco products to New Customers. * Accountable for delivery of Additional Business and Contract Renewal targets for the assigned customer portfolio. * Developing customer relationships with decision makers on all levels. * Accountable for a seamless and timely transition of customer management from the Commercial team to our Operations and Customer Service teams. * Supporting the resolution of Commercial and Operational reported customer issues, including interventions with customers to resolve escalated issues. * Ensuring high customer satisfaction and an excellent customer experience.

Required profile:

The ideal candidate has: * 3 years+ in a customer facing sales role within the transport and logistics industry. * A strong understanding of Freight Forwarding Products and Solutions. * Solid Swedish market knowledge. * Great relationship building skills. * Proven track record of targeting, pursuing and winning sales opportunities. * Well-developed Communication, Presentation and Negotiation skills * Fluency in the English and Swedish language. The position requires that you are a self-starter and performance driven. You must have a genuine interest in creating and doing business with the Customer in focus. Driver's license is required for this position.
