IT Services (ITS) is responsible for all End User, infrastructure & Platform Services within Volvo Car Group globally and a key component of Service Delivery & Operations within Group IT. Thedepartment'schannels demand from variousbusinessareas and interactson a daily basis withbothbusiness and ITStakeholderstocapturetoday's and tomorrowsneeds and guide theseneeds from design phasestowards global solutions in full operation.

On behalf of our customer we are now looking for an IT Director End User & Collaboration Services, Service Development & Operations (SD&O).

This position has a managers, engineers and consultants and reports to Senior Director IT Services. As an IT Director Manager End User & Collaboration Services you are responsible for executing and contributing to strategies, defining the high level design, governing the operation and improvement of services enabling the IT User within Volvo Car Group to better integrate to the computing environment, which is an area that needs to steadily improve as the need and complexity of IT increases with new technology and demands.

Within EUS&C there are three groups; Workplace Services, Support Services and Collaboration Services. You and your groups manage key business dialogue upstream (business and IT departments) and downstream (ITS Service Owners and Suppliers).
  • Manage and motivate and develop the Workplace Services team, Support Services team, Collaboration Services team as well as consultants. - Secure global operation
  • Service Levelfulfillmentreporting
  • Supplierperformanceevaluations
  • Secure delivery capabilities within the Service and that operational efficiency, technology and methodology development is ensured on both short and long term.
  • Forecast, Plan and follow up on budget and finances.
  • Establish roles and responsibilities to secure true IT User focus, through service definitions and offerings, supporting tools, communication and training.
  • Lead the development of a new and modern Support platform with an increased external focus towards the dealers and consumers.
  • Transform Workplace and Collaboration Services to enable a highly dynamic and mobile working experience.
  • Keep track of deviations and secure that they are handled properly and timely

  • University Degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent leadership capabilities (lead other leaders, manage and motivate both employees and consultants in both daily works as well as in change)
  • Excellent & Documentedknowledgeof Service operations, Transformation and Strategicplanning
  • Experienced in thefieldof Support platforms & processes
  • Excellent communicationskillsbothonlocal and global level (verbal, written and listening) in Swedish and English
  • Experience from cost and time management ability, sourcing and contract handling skills.
  • Good knowledge of ITIL
  • Abletofuelfuture service planningtogetherwithGroupManagers & Service Owners
  • Self-motivated and strong driving force for driving change and implementation.
  • Excellent ability to build good relations, high sense of Urgency with the Customers delivery in focus at all times
