Customer Support Specialist - Sweden (Stockholm) Nordics (Finland, Denmark, Norway) - Permanent - Home Based

Overall Position Purpose

The ideal candidate will be technically sound and have previous and extensive experience working with databases ideally within the Automotive sector but not necessary.

We are looking for a technical savvy support specialist who enjoys working within the automotive industry to provide technical support whilst liaising with customers effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Continuous updates regarding JATO Database structure, Schema Field changes and Webservices methods
  • Perform Webservice testing of sites to be implemented and in Live , performance testing and support on error reporting
  • Understand the customer requirements and identify the appropriate product(s) and/ or service(s) that JATO can offer
  • Support customers by responding as soon as possible to their query and by providing them reliable and professional answers.
  • Provide first line support on product / database issues, and qualify them before handing them over to second line technical support team for resolution or further investigation
  • Log incidents into JATO Helpdesk
  • Perform regular follow up meeting with customers to allow up selling or maintaining or proactive actions
  • Manage product installation at client sites or JATO servers and manage the delivery of fulfillment projects (custom requests from customers)
  • Maintain products used by customers ensuring they are using the latest software and production platform
  • Provide basic client training at customer sites, handing accompanying training materials and content prepared with the training department
Required profile:

Skills Required

Essential
  • 2 years' experience in Customer support role for software products would be desirable
  • Effective communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (and other Microsoft Office applications)
  • Willing to travel (mainly in the local country but there may be a requirement to travel abroad)
  • SQL/HTML capabilities
  • Web service experience
  • Web API knowledge
  • Able to work in a multi-national/matrix management environment
  • Language: English and Swedish other languages are also welcomed
Desired
  • Experience in the Automotive or leasing industry would be advantageous
  • Some training experience, including training materials and course development, delivery via classroom-based and online
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, e.g. macros, pivot tables, advanced formula, VLOOKUPS, conditional formatting
  • University graduate or equivalent combination of college and work experience
