We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual who can strengthen and support our Splunk enterprise environment to meet the increasing demand from IT and business areas.

As a tech family, Shared Security Services in DNB Group Security delivers high quality cyber security services and practices for the organization with full end-to-end ownership of our service portfolio. Our two teams within network security and security operations are responsible for DNB's protection capabilities through common security tools and services, vulnerability management, network security and central logging capabilities.

Who are you?

You have a curious and forward-thinking personality with a passion for IT and technology. Ideally, you've spent several years configuring and maintaining Splunk for IT operational and security purposes. Your experience in traditional IT infrastructure, networking and architecture as well as cloud-centric solutions (AWS/Azure) is essential when planning tomorrow's infrastructure with performance and optimization in mind. You have extensive experience as a Linux system administrator supporting enterprise systems and with a DevOps mentality (Ansible, Git CI/CD).

Splunk certifications are preferred but not required.

You are comfortable working with application architecture and lifecycle management, writing complex queries in SPL and enjoy visualization through building dashboards. You can design and scale Splunk enterprise architecture according to a capacity plan to support on-prem and multi-cloud environments. You also have strong problem solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Key responsibilities
  • Drive end-to-end log onboarding and tuning across infrastructure components, OS and software applications
  • Implement standard methodologies related to capacity, security, performance, and DR
  • Develop and maintain Azure/AWS IaaS/SaaS/PaaS best practices for log architecture
  • Splunk Application Management assurance for front and backend operations
  • Work closely with business to align with customer and system requirements
  • Strategy planning and build for Splunk multi-cloud roadmap
  • Integrate solutions for Group Security tech family needs for data-driven insight and automation
