Do you want to build Scania’s future and lead the electrification shift? The world of transport and logistics is electrifying rapidly, and Scania is facing the biggest shift in our history. Our target is to take a leading role in the transformation by introducing new tailor-made products, services and sustainable transport solutions.

The Solution Sales function exists to accelerate volume growth by working closely with our Business Units and strategic customers. Our purpose is to turn customer challenges into solutions by being the natural business partner for all commercial E-Mobility topics. We enable scaled sales and validate new opportunities through small series projects with strategic customers.

Now we are looking for a commercial professional with strong drive and proven track record to join the team. The mission is to drive commercial impact and maximize our roll out of electric solutions to validate learnings and prepare for volume growth. To be successful, we believe in mixed skillsets, so the role is highly cross-functional.

Work description, examples
  • Full responsibility to drive commercial development and sales with selected Business Units, acting as the main Head office Business Partner for BU’s and high-profile customers
  • Set, drive and follow up business targets including prospecting, volume growth, profitability and organisational milestones together with the markets
  • Create go to market and target application strategy for new and existing markets to maximise growth opportunities
  • Lead tender processes and assemble teams necessary for offer design, negotiation and commercial setup in close collaboration with Business Units, Dealers, Strategic Account Sales and technical teams.
Your profile
We are looking for a curious self-starter who likes to work with both technology and business development close to customers in a high paced environment. You have an open mind and enjoy building things in a context where the road forward is not always clear. Experience from B2B negotiations, complex sales and commercialisation of solutions through the Scania network is highly meriting.

You have a commercial and or technical university degree and master English with high proficiency. Other languages are meriting, and leadership experience is a bonus to be successful in the role. You should enjoy a combination of hands-on tasks together with long term business strategies. Travelling will be required pending the current Corona situation.
