Cooperation, synergies and new technologies are key cornerstones in TRATON’s Group Global Champion Strategy. Our current product portfolio needs to be continuously optimized while the need for new technologies is rapidly increasing. This is enabled through strong collaboration between the consolidated brands (Scania, MAN, VWCO) and new alliances (Navistar, Hino).

The TRATON Crossfunctional, Project and Holding Controlling is now searching for a new colleague to be a part of the journey of supporting the TRATON Groups Global Champion Strategy.

The team is on the one hand working with consolidating and analyzing R&D cost as well as Purchasing performance on the other hand conducts a transparent and cost optimized steering of cross-brand product development projects across TRATON group. Furthermore, we support the CTO office in various business decisions. We are working in an international environment and collaborating with our colleagues in the whole group.
We are a team of dedicated people with various backgrounds in the fields of financial controlling and engineering located in Södertälje as well as Munich. We enjoy solving problems together with our colleagues across functions and brands in the TRATON Group and always try to find the best solutions for the Group. We strive for a climate where opinions and knowledge is openly shared within the team and we welcome new ideas in order to create dynamic synergies.

Your tasks
  • Consolidate the Group’s cross functional R&D Cost planning.
  • Build the link between R&D budget planning on company level and the new decision governance for product development projects within the TRATON Group.
  • Interact as counterpart for investment and R&D cost related questions within TRATON Group
  • Consolidate TRATON group Purchasing KPIs
  • Support Cost Center Controlling of TRATON AB.
Your skills

You would like to work in an international climate with all the joy and challenges that comes along within an organization that is constantly adapting and changing.
To succeed in this role we believe that you have a degree of higher education in the field of Business Administration and/or Industrial Engineering or comparable qualification with at least 3 years professional experience in Controlling, preferable R&D Controlling. You are well structured and proactive. You have a strong team spirit and an interdisciplinary way of working with good interpersonal- and communication skills. You are fluent in written and spoken English, German and/or Swedish is meriting. Since part of the department is located in Munich you shall have a willingness to travel.
