We are looking for a Senior Advisor to work closely with other Invest In Finland team members as well as other Business Finland colleagues to promote corporate expansion from Scandinavia (Sweden, Norway & Denmark) to Finland (Foreign Direct Investment FDI).
YOUR TASK We are looking for a colleague with a strong professional experience and networks within our focus industry sectors, preferably in Digitalization and Health. Secondary knowledge areas such as Clean Tech, Bio economy and consumer/travel are also an advantage. Please notice the working language will be both Scandinavian and English.
As our Senior Advisor, your role includes:
Proactively develop a network with potential target companies; listed corporations and other companies ready for international expansion
Identify business expansion opportunities within the strong areas of Finland, including ICT/Digitalization, Health Tech, Smart Mobility/Automotive, Energy storage, Automation & Advanced Manufacturing.
Work together with the headquarter team and external partners to assist the companies through the entire investment planning process
Provide aftercare services to companies who have already established operations in Finland, and identify re-investment potential
Participate in or organize investment promotion events, e.g. roadshows

In order to succeed in your job, we expect you to have the following competencies and experience:
Strong B2B sales experience, especially consultative sales, ideally also challenger sales. This includes a good understanding how to successfully manage the customer through a long decision-making process
Excellent networking capabilities, good negotiation and presentation skills;
Personal networks, including management and decision makers, within our focus sectors
Strong business development and communication skills
Understanding of business strategy and internationalization processes. Ideally previous involvement in establishing international operations or cross-border M&A process.
Ability to work independently, and in a team
Working experience in high-tech company's business development or strategy sector is valuable; ability to discuss technology is a must
Relevant bachelor's degree or above; technical or business preferred
Excellent command of oral and written English.
