Job Description
You will play an important role in the relationship with our customers, defining actions and sales plans, aligning and working with relevant sales, marketing and business unit teams and develop long-term account strategies. You will report to the Director of OEM Sales, in Sweden and Finland, and together with the team, you will join a solution selling culture where customer needs and profitability are key elements in being successful.

As the Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for supporting our existing customers as well as identifying new opportunities. You will use your commercial experience and good system knowledge from hydraulic applications to identify where Danfoss Power Solutions' capabilities can best support the customer and use this to secure and develop business opportunities. You will find the known and unknown customer needs along with their challenges as to work on solving them with the Danfoss product range. You need to be a great team player to deliver the necessary feedback to the technical application teams and product management to utilize the full company potential. You will initiate, drive and present proposals to the/our customer(s) in cooperation with production units and System Application Engineers (SAEs). You will present quotations, solutions and negotiate customer pricing and agreements. You perform in direct contact with the customers and by internal cooperation with product managers, production, technical and customer service. You are used to working with several parallel tasks in a dynamic matrix organization and you find inspiration and energy in the challenges of demanding customers.

Your success will be measured by your ability to contribute to creating and developing the business and in how you:
  • Develop profitable growth and long-term partnerships with existing customer portfolio
  • Investigate, plan, and visit a selection of existing and potential OEM customers
  • Follow-up on ongoing activities and monitor potential opportunities or compelling events to promote Danfoss Power Solutions' products and solutions to customers
  • Communicate at all levels and transform complex functionalities into customer values
  • Execute by developing timeline, milestones, goals, KPI's and actions while involving all relevant stakeholders internally and externally
  • Involve the technical department and production based on defined sales processes and lead coordination for the assigned accounts to ensure alignment of strategies and activities across regions/countries
  • Take the lead account manager role if responsible for an International OEM
  • Be frequently present at the customer locations and invite customers to Danfoss and Danfoss factories
Your office location is flexibly positioned in Sweden, and you will be traveling approximately 1-3 days per week, mainly in Sweden, but occasionally also to factories and sales locations in Europe.

Background and skills
You have a relevant bachelor's degree or technical background and a proven solid track record of industrial sales within B2B. You are experienced in demanding price and agreement negotiations. You will need strong networking skills and a full overview of relevant stakeholders.

On a more personal note, you are analytic and a good listener with a high focus on long-term partnerships built on knowledge trust and high quality. You have a personal drive and the ambition to push boundaries both internally and externally. Moreover, you are execution-oriented and have a close follow-up mentality, you are curious and like to interact with many people at the same time and you can easily adapt yourself to different cultures and situations. You are a strong team player, who possess strong interpersonal communication skills, which enable you to build and develop strong relationships and to communicate your results in a clear and concise manner. Finally, you are fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
