Job description:

The Senior Business Consultant is the primary consultant, the solution specialist, and the industry specialist assisting with the sales effort. Working closely with the Regional sales team, the partner and the customer, the Senior Business Consultant will identify business opportunities and needs and propose solutions of value. This position is responsible for following our sales methodology and practices, defining value add recommendations, and assisting in creating the proposed system application(s).

Responsibilities
  • Establishes strategic relationships or a vision for developing a committed and highly satisfied customer.
  • Contributes to building a positive, can-do, high-performance culture.
  • Capable of developing and documenting new business processes and/or optimizing existing processes as required (warehouse, manufacturing).
  • Provides consultative recommendations as well as integration and application design input to the prospect or customer. This includes presenting sales demonstrations with a focus on proactive promotion of business case solutions.
  • Prepares and validates "Return on Investment" analyses for each project pre-sales and post implementation.
  • Participates in joint sales calls with the members of the Honeywell sales team for providing both operational and technical advices.
  • Assists with training partners to increase their ability to sell, implement, and support our solutions.
  • Interacts with and inquires business needs from various customer representatives ranging from executives, senior operations management, IT representatives, warehouse operations
  • Exhibits extensive knowledge of the customers' business, strategic drivers, financial requirements and can discuss and demonstrate strategic business value in conversation at the highest levels of the organization; could include competitively advantaged opportunities.
  • Act as a trusted functional and technical advisor to large enterprise clients.
  • Understand customer needs and develop high-quality presentations, proposals and software demonstrations that speak to these needs.
  • Work with the sales team to establish, strengthen and maintain customer strategic relationship with clients & key partners.
  • Provide recommendations for overcoming technical sales objections.
Required profile:

We are looking for:
  • English proficiency + any other language
  • Working Knowledge of End to End Supply Chain Operations
  • Perfect understanding of Warehouse processes (picking, put to store, receiving, ...)
  • Ability to recommend process optimization, perform operational audit
  • Deep understanding of solutions and technologies used in WHS/SC operations, such as automated warehouses, robotics, drones, voice, put-to-light
  • Excellent communication, strong listener, presentation and interpersonal skills (empathy)
  • Excellent ability to coach, educate, teach and mentor
  • Prepared to travel 50-75% of the time
  • Understanding of WIFI protocols, interfacing techniques and system-to-system communications.
  • Basic Networking protocol (TCP/IP, HTTPS), software Interoperability architecture (load balancing, cluster, cloud)
  • Understand software algorithm and coding, ability to more likely configuration ability and or ability to support PoC's
Additionally:
  • Experience related to sales in Indirect organization
  • Experience related to sales demonstrations, sales meetings, and customer negotiations.
  • Previous experience in the Warehouse, warehouse optimization, and supply chain sectors (WMS/ERP, Retail, Automotive, Food)
  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of supply chain distribution logistics, or in lieu of a degree a minimum of 7 year of supply chain distribution logistics.
  • A minimum of 3 years of on-site customer relationship experience including experience managing multiple, complex projects from start to completion.
  • A minimum of 3 years in a pre-sales role.
