Manager for our Service & Support team Heavy Construction in two regions

We are now looking for two Managers to our Service & Support teams in Middle and Northern part of Sweden.

You play an important role in the organization, leading a group of Field service technicians and Product specialists who provide service and support our Heavy Construction customers along with the service coordinators who plan and coordinate their work.

As manager of the team you make sure the team has the capability profile required today and tomorrow. You have the ability to handle and prioritize while not losing focus on leadership. Your focus is to secure an efficient service and support organization where we provide professional installation, service and support to our customers. Within your responsibility you shall strive for a continuous improvement and development in our processes and routines within the organization.

You collaborate with your other colleagues in Service & Support Managers to allocate resources to a sustainable level as well as with Sales and other business partners in Operations and Finance. Your communication skills will be valuable as well as your ability to motivate and enthuse people.

As the team is geographically spread travelling within the region is required. The northern region runs from Gästrikland to Lappland and the middle region runs from Östergötland to Dalarna.

Qualifications required

This is a managerial role in a technical environment, so it requires leadership experience. We also see that you have 5-8 years of experience in a similar role, a bachelor's degree or similar education and experience.

Fluent in Swedish is necessary and Leica Geosystems is an international organization, so you need to be able to communicate and write in English. As travelling is required you need to have a valid driver's license.

A high level of personal drive, engagement and self-motivation is required for this position. You need to have a customer focus and be analytical.

Other desirable qualifications are:
  • Office 365, SAP and CRM-systems
  • LEAN or other work of improvement

Leica have offices in different part of Sweden and the role for Middle will be placed in our offices in Kista or Örebro while the role for North will be based in our office in Sundsvall, Umeå or Skellefteå.
