Job description:

A Day in the Life

In this exciting and challenging position as a Territory Manager, Gastrointestinal Solutions, you will be driving the sales of the GI Solutions portfolio in Sweden.

The role will include sales calls with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders, performing sales presentations, conducting training and in-service activities for physicians and nurses. Key to your success will be building strong relationships with key opinion leaders and key non-clinical stakeholders to ultimately drive sales revenue. You will be required to define plans and promotion activities including workshops, symposia, and training events. You will need to be a self-starter, have strong time management, and planning skills, sales skills and have demonstrated success in working independently

You will report to the Cluster Sales Manager in the Nordic region.

Responsibilities:
  • Selling a range of products into assigned accounts and hospitals and related healthcare organizations
  • Building strong ethical business relationships with customers to ensure usage of our products and gain greater market share, leading through clinical selling
Business Development
  • Lead with multiple stakeholder selling activities within the territory and identify sales prospects and build strong relations on accounts that is already assigned to your territory
  • Working mainly in the endoscopy environment, with some time spent in Interventional Radiology and Surgery. Supporting and advising GI Endoscopists, Interventional Radiologists, Surgeons and Nurses
Prepare action plans and identify specific targets

Customer Management
  • Achieve agreed budgets and focus on sales growth
  • Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts as well as conducting the necessary negotiations
Support & Training
  • Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
  • Communicate new product launched and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity back to your team
  • Coordinate colleagues to accomplish the work required to close sales
Required profile:

Must Haves
  • Healthcare related (medical or scientific) degree or its equivalent (preferably)
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in medical device sales, including distributor's management
  • Target oriented, with successful sales experience in the medical device industry
  • Highly committed to customers' satisfaction and long-term relationship development
  • Thorough understanding of the national / local health care system
  • Optimize tender management in your region
  • Develop plans by selecting appropriate information, recognizing assumptions, developing hypotheses, and reaching valid conclusions
  • Clean driving license
  • Fluent in Swedish and English is required
  • Strong communication skills, enthusiastic personality with positive thinking and a „can do" attitude
  • Strong team player with high integrity standards. Ability to work in a fast changing, demanding and highly matrixed business environment
  • Demonstrate business acumen and an engaging and persuasive personality
