At the heart of this is our Automated Engineering, Maintenance and Robotic Repairs team who play an important part in the solution. Based on-site, they are key in maintaining an operation that delivers our partners expectations, whilst providing pivotal feedback to internal teams that enable future development of our products.

So what's the role?
Reporting to the Senior Engineering Operations Manager, The initial focus of the Engineering Operations Manager is to deliver both leadership and hands on technical expertise to ensure operational excellence across every shift, driving the department to a "right first time culture'' Managing several team leaders within the CFC who each have circa 15 direct reports each.

Key Focus Areas & Responsibilities include:
Day to day leadership of team leaders and members, recruitment of new hires and prioritisation and allocation of workload; deploying labour based on demands and requirements. You will set, achieve and exceed agreed KPIs for the Engineering / Repairs team, including fault reduction and elimination.

Assessment of the engineering, Technical Maintenance and repairs team skills and support in training of staff to up-skill. Performance management, development and conduct one to one appraisals and be involved with HR for any disciplinary action

Promote and champion a pro-active positive customer focused culture and drive and support change initiatives for MHE equipment and promote continuous process improvement.

Build collaborative relationships with key customers and robust communication links demonstrating a relentless focus on the quality and detail of everything you and your team undertake.

Chair advanced stage formal meetings regarding productivity expectancy, quality standards, process health and safety requirements and conduct standards and manage costs.

Setting objectives for team members utilising SMART criteria (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Timely) and ensuring these objectives are reviewed on a quarterly basis.

Experience & Skills:
If you have a good technical ability relating to automation hardware and software, experience at management level ideally within an automated environment and comprehensive understanding of production, picking and storage MHE systems then we want to hear from you!

You may have gained experience in an automated environment and work with computerised maintenance management systems

We look for strong verbal communication, written and numeracy skills, sound analytical skills with an eye for detail; good problem solving ability and a practical approach

Language Skills in English is essential plus ability to also speak Swedish is desirable.

Flexible working shifts
This role will require your flexibility due to us being a 24/7 operation and therefore a shift pattern will be put in place that will require working a variety of days, evenings, weekends and this pattern can include some nights. This is essential so that we can work efficiently to meet the needs of our partners in Sweden.
