You will be a part of the team that develops new and sustainable solutions at SEB Life & Pension. The team consists of 15 colleagues, working both with private and corporate customers. With customer experience in focus, the team develops and improves future solutions.

As a trainee, some of your tasks will include market & customer analysis, supporting product & service development of tailor-made solutions for SEB´s different client segments, such as advisory tools and other innovative solutions. In your role as a Business Developer, you will have many touch-points across the organisation and thereby gain an extensive network within SEB.

Your future manager, Victoria Waltari, describes the work at Life & Pension:

"As a part of the customer experience, you are at the centre of events as we both conduct business development and support sales. If you are curious, interested in technology and want to participate in (and change) the customer experience, you will fit in with us!"


We are looking for people who can challenge us and we will do everything we can for you to get a kick-start career in SEB. In return, we ask for this:
  • an academic degree in Finance, Economics, IT, Engineering, Behavioural Science or equivalent, latest 2019
  • you are, or will soon graduate and have some work experience
  • fluent in written and spoken English and Swedish
It is not a requirement but a plus if you have experience acquired through leading projects, have worked within customer service or other service areas and studied/worked abroad. It is also meriting if you have taken courses in marketing.

You have great social skills, believe in collaboration to achieve more and can lead others to improve team performance. You are highly motivated, a fast learner and a doer who easily can turn words into actions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are very important, since we always strive to simplify what is complex. At the end of the day, our goal is to create outstanding experiences for our customers and we, therefore, believe that you always should think "customer first".
