Schibsted Media Product & Tech · Publicerad 19 okt

Take the opportunity to work with Svenska Dagbladet, one of Sweden's most visited websites and a pioneer in using algorithms for presenting news. Your work will be enjoyed by thousands of people every day.

Who we are

We are a small web development team operating independently within the Schibsted group. How to organize the work and what tools to use is up to us, and we have a big influence on what's being built. We have a modern micro-service infrastructure and manage and deploy all apps ourselves.

Who you are

You are comfortable with all things front-end, but also interested in the development process as a whole, from the idea stage to production.

You can build web apps using:
  • NodeJS
  • React
  • Java (with sane frameworks)
  • Heroku and AWS
We don't expect you to be an expert in all of these, but that you are willing to learn.

What you'll do

In short, you will build and maintain We work with user interviews, data analysis and experiments to find out what to do to make our users appreciate Svenska Dagbladet's website even more. Right now the main focus for our team is to improve the experience for our paying subscribers.

You will also be defending democracy every day.
