Work with state-of-the-art, technically advanced automation on the outskirts of Stockholm (Half hour drive)

We have partnered with the worlds most advanced automation technology company who are opening their first automated warehouse in Sweden!

They are now looking to hire the Maintenance Manager – who will oversee the Maintenance operation of the entire warehouse.

You will be a seasoned Engineer and have at least 10 years management experience(managing teams of 50 +) and are able to demonstrate that you have responsibility for team performance, risk assessments, health and safety reviews and maintenance planning (using a CMMS such as SAP or similar). You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of environment and you will utilise your extensive maintenance and man-management experience to manage a team of up to 50 Technicians and Engineers.

Your background will be both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and you will still want to keep a hands on approach to running this 24/7 operation. A real knowledge of all areas of Automation including Robotics and PLCs is essential as well as a experience of Fault diagnosis of Material Handling Equipment including conveyors, shuttles, cranes, elevators.. A good knowledge of Swedish Health & Safety legislation is essential and will be tested at interview.

Ideally, you will come from a fast paced, high volume, manufacturing/production 24/7 operation, You will have worked in Food, FMCG, Packaging, Pharmaceutical, or Automotive manufacturing.

The commute time is half an hour (on a good day with traffic) from Stockholm and you must be genuinely interested in working outside of the city and happy to work on a rotating shift pattern -including night shift. Please do not apply if you cannot commit to both.

Training will take place in other parts of Europe and you must be happy to travel for this for the first three months (all travel and training costs will be covered).This training will ensure that you are fully informed regarding this state-of-the-art robotics and automation solution.

Written and spoken English within a work environment is absolutely essential for this role as you will be working with Swedish and English colleagues at all levels.
