District Sales Manager

Automotive Replacement – Scandinavia

Your function:
  • Responsible for planning, follow-up and development of the sales actions and activities to existing and prospective customers in the designated area of responsibility: Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland
  • Assists Distributors in handling Gates product lines. Responsible for the achievement of sales goals and assuring market penetration for all Gates Product Divisions/Markets (Automotive Aftermarket).
  • Responsible for all aspects of jobbers, garages and distributor follow-up and for all administrative related activities.
  • Works with customers on purchasing and technical level to discuss problem areas or business opportunities.
  • Understands all aspects of the market and competition. Translates strategies into market specific actions to support the Gates brand and market shares. Market studies are essential to define the right actions.
  • Responsible for maintaining good commercial relations with Gates customers/prospects and providing them all commercial and technical information to help them to achieve sales budgets.

Your profile:
  • Technical or commercial degree (min. bachelor) with 2-3 years experience in simialr function.
  • Live in the designated area and willing to travel within this area.
  • Proven sales record, preferably in AR environment.
  • Customer and result oriented.
  • English and Swedish, a good understanding of Norwegian and Danish.
