The Accounting team in Stockholm is looking for a skilled Accounting Manager to be part of our growing team.

About Finance at Trustly:
The Finance team consists of some 30 full-time employees across the Accounting, Payroll, Controlling, Cash Management, Tax and Banking Relations teams. The majority of the Finance team is located in Stockholm with a few team members in Malta and Spain. In short, the Finance department's main responsibilities are internal and external financial reporting, keeping track of all transactions and supporting other parts of the organization with financial data.

About the role:
The Trustly Group consists of nearly 30 companies with subsidiaries in several countries within Europe. As Accounting Manager for our Nordic companies, you will take on full responsibility for our 13 companies in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. This includes managing month-end and year-end closings, reporting of P&L and balance sheet on a regular basis to Group Accounting Manager and Head of Accounting, and also supporting the organization with questions relating to invoices and expenses.

What you'll do:
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations
  • Be responsible for the month-end and year-end closings for all of our Nordic companies
  • Be the team lead for our Nordic accounting team, which today consists of two employees
  • Produce financial reports or statements on a regular basis
  • Review general ledger on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy of posting
  • Communicate with external auditors
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data
  • Ensure that all tax declarations are submitted and paid on time, together with our tax team
  • Ensure compliance with the financial procedures of the organization
Who you are:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 3 years of experience from working with accounting and/or audit
  • Experience leading a team
  • Experience working with K3 and/or IFRS
  • Experience working with companies within an international group
  • A genuine interest of working within accounting
  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office
  • Experience from working in NetSuite is considered a plus
  • Fluency in both Swedish and English with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • A quick learner who is comfortable taking ownership of given tasks and working independently
  • Social and enjoys working closely in a team
