We currently have an exciting opportunity for a POS Co-pack Development Manager who will be responsible for the successful delivery of Copack Projects in the Nordics, from feasibility study through to 1st Production approval. The job role provides a one-stop-shop for the management of new copack SKUs including approximately 150 projects per annum.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide a "one stop shop for Copack Development to the Nordics Business.
  • Manage Nordic copack projects end to end, from feasibility study to 1st production approval.
  • Define, maintain and control copack work instructions (specifications) and associated documentation (e.g. packaging information, pallet plans).
  • Source and collate NPD pricing data (labour costs, transport, RH&D, packaging costs & Gordian Administration fees) and present to the business to obtain project approval.
  • Support PCMs for information / data requests through PAM meetings where copacking is required.
  • Lead Transit Trial testing of new products, ensuring compliance with MEU Quality and Customer In store requirements, whilst aligning with core design harmonisation guidelines.
  • Engage with PCM and R&D to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of new T1 projects, attending PCM project meetings as required.
  • Lead bi -weekly Copack project stakeholder progress and review meetings to ensure delivery of NPD projects in line with business timings and requirements; influencing stakeholders and contributors into taking corrective actions as required.
  • Ensure timely provision of all Master Data for Copack NPD via Regional Workflow.
  • Conduct 1st production audits for new copack products at 3rd party supplier premises, creating Gold Specification samples, authorising production of NPD and approving Bills of Material for use.
  • Work with Copack Supply Management to ensure packaging availability. Ensure availability of packaging in line with production requirements and ensuring zero service or ATO failures due to non-availability of packaging.
  • Ensure effective communications between all stakeholders, including service providers, packaging suppliers, planning departments, project management and procurement teams for all Copack projects.
  • Prepare Copack Bill of Material master data and communicate to Copack Operations.
  • Work with the wider Customisation Team, Copack Operations and Network Optimisation to drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices in all NPD projects.
  • Work with Planning Departments, PCM and Copack Operations to minimise exposure to packaging waste on Copack Projects.
  • Ensure effective controls/procedures are in place to ensure adherence to Mondelz International policies and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities and really drive change within the area
Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need:
  • University degree or qualified by experience
  • Proven experience of project management in supply chain and commercial context
  • Copack experience (preferred)
  • Experience/awareness of packaging design (preferred)
  • Process management - strong leadership and ability to figure out how to get things done with and through others
  • Have a strong forward thinking combined with an eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels
  • Well organised with the focus on objectives and timely decision making. Has the ability to prioritise, manage and measure work
  • Action orientated and results driven individual who perseveres despite challenges/setbacks
  • Skilled at building effective teams (direct and indirect) and creating strong morale/a drive to win
  • Strong sense of perspective: can discuss multiple aspects and impacts of issues and project them into the future
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, knowledge of Swedish/Norwegian/Danish is preferable
