For our Scandinavian subsidiary based in Denmark we are looking for a new managing director to take care of the Scandinavian market as soon as possible.

BITO Lagerteknik A/S is a successful, German-owned company with Scandinavian headquarters in Odense, which sells commercial and technical logistics solutions.

Customers are a significant number of large and small companies in Denmark, Norway, Finland and Sweden, where the markets are under promising development.

Your main tasks are:
  • Managing our subsidiary in Scandinavia (Denmark, Sweden, Finland)
  • Driver and coach of business development, acquisition of new partners
  • Leading and coaching of our employees in Denmark, Sweden and Finland
  • Responsible for achieving our sales targets in the various markets, including budgeting, controlling and business analysis
  • Development of all existing sales channels (field service, key account management, online and telephone selling) as well as the management of a sales warehouse
  • Implementation and further development of the corporate strategy and goals for the Scandinavian markets
  • Key Account Management support of large international customers as representative in Scandinavia
  • Being part of a worldwide working group of managing directors
  • Regular trips to customers
We're expecting:
  • Completed business management or technical studies or comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in sales of technical systems, ideally in the field of storage technology / steel construction with proven sales success and application know-how
  • Several years of leading experience necessary
  • Strategic-analytical thinking, strong skills in the fields of business administration, sales methods and marketing
  • Good know-how in digital market access, project management, logistic processes and trading with dealing partners desirable
  • Good knowledge of country specific topics in Scandinavia (e.g. vat) desirable
  • High communication and networking skills
  • Secure user knowledge in MS Office and ERP systems
  • Fluent in English; 2nd foreign language from Scandinavia desirable
