About the role
The primary role of the Account Manager is development of existing customers and new business in the market. This is through a combination of prospecting for new clients by networking across all market segments like office buildings, public operations, high-security facilities, etc. You are responsible for planning persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients (end users, architects, specifiers, partners etc) to do business with the Gunnebo. You will be responsible for delivering your annual sales budget through your activities and deliver profitable growth each year.

The role covers all of Denmark, but the main business opportunities generated in the Copenhagen area as well as the possibility to target the Malmö area. The position will involve some travel and you will be based at Gunnebo Entrance Control's office in Copenhagen, reporting to the Regional Director Nordics.

We encourage teamwork and collaboration, where you, together with the presale, project manager, product owner and other resources within the business area, work in teams to achieve the best possible customer value and results.

About you - Characteristics and experiences
To succeed, you must promote Entrance Control solutions to multiple stake holders through the value chain - lobbying end users, agreeing specifications with architects and consultants, supporting the system integrator and guiding the construction company. You get to know the customer's business and find new ways and solutions to address their challenges.

We are looking for someone who is commercially aware and goal oriented. You thrive in an environment where you are free to create your own plans and take the initiative. You prioritize, are structured, and plan your own work. You have the courage to challenge current thinking and test new ideas and theories. As a person, you are responsive and have a natural ability to build trust. You are driven by challenges and thrive in a role that is a mix of "hands-on" and strategic work.
  • Several years of experience in system and solution selling
  • Industry experience is beneficial but not an essential requirement, knowledge and experience in, for example, software, IoT or Cloud / cloud-based services, as well as experience of tenders is a great advantage
  • You most likely have an academic or post-secondary education or equivalent knowledge, and are a regular user of, among other things, the Office package and CRM / business systems.
  • This role focuses primarily on Danish customers, there are also international customers with local companies here
  • We expect good Danish and English in speaking and writing
