Do you have experience from launching a new product within the FMCG industry? Do you have knowledge on how to set up socially built brands? Do you have an entrepreneurial mindset with the courage to create awareness through a disruptive attitude in digital platforms? Then you might be our new driving force in setting up and carrying out a Nordic product launch that will establish Mars in an exciting new category!


The role will add experience and knowledge to Mars Nordics. We already have numerous market leading brands, but this product launch will be carried out in a different way. A digital strategy with influencers and sampling will be important channels to create customer awareness. Your experience in taking product to market in this way will be crucial to setting up this business and potentially influence other segments over time. This will require creating ways that does not exist in the company today.

Apart from leading the process of the launch based on digital communication you will also lead a team of Field Marketing Managers covering the Nordic. Teams of field marketers will also be set up for each market.

Essential duties and responsibilities
  • Plan and execute a Nordic product launch within the food segment.
  • Establish marketing channels through influencers and optimize market investment.
  • Setting up procedures and organization of an aggressive and effective sampling campaign.
  • Engage both internal and external stakeholders to speed up time to market.

This is a permanent role starting as soon as possible. The role will initially report to the Nordic Marketing Director. The business created will establish Mars in an exciting new category. The position is placed at Mars Nordics office in Ørestad (just minutes outside the centre of Copenhagen and 25 minutes from Malmö C).


Education/Training/ Other:
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience of taking products to market within FMCG
  • Advanced skills in creating awareness through social digital platforms and influencers
Related Experience/Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of FMCG marketing experience
  • Project Management
  • Line Manager experience or as a consultant working with leading brands
Personal traits:
  • A can-do attitude that will inspire the organization to remove road blocks
  • Drive for results with ability to make projects progress in high speed
  • Strong in communication with the ability to sell in ideas
  • Team player and co-operation skills
