We are now looking for a Trade Marketing Merchandising Specialist with great coordination skills to join us! In this role, you will be responsible for the Nordic merchandising planning and execution in veterinary clinics and hospitals - our VET pillar.

This role is based in our Nordic HQ in Ørestad, Copenhagen.

About the job

The main purpose is to build Royal Canin brand awareness through visibility and availability in the clinics, promoting reach to new customers and reinforce the partnership with our community. In this role, you are responsible for executing all planned marketing activities and actions - Perfect Clinic Strategy - according to plan and on time.

Marketing activities will mainly involve product launches - both new and upgrades - and you will play an active part in planning and creating new campaigns together with the team.

This is an active role in executing the plans together with responsible sales team in the Nordic countries. Collaborating and actively seeking input from Key Account & Sales Managers will therefore be highly important in order to secure alignment with their business plans.

You will for example:
  • Be responsible for executing and coordinating the Trade Marketing activities across Nordics in order to support business growth
  • Together with your manager be responsible for the strategic merchandising planning in order to drive sales in the Nordic VET channels
  • Accelerate profitable growth by ensuring availability and visibility of our portfolio in VET
  • Analyze data and make appropriate recommendations in close collaboration with the VET controller, aiming for trade marketing efficiency
  • Monitor and manage the merchandising budget, forecast all expenses and allocate spends together with your manager
  • Coordinate and produce material for VET clinics and internal communication
  • Manage suppliers and partners (printing house, designers, translators, gimmicks) and negotiate with vendors to secure best pricing
  • Manage and track inventory levels on all merchandising
  • Secure right look and feel according to guidelines on material for VET clinics

The role spans across the Nordic markets (Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland). You will report to the Portfolio Activation Manager/Marketing Manager for VET.

About you

We are looking for someone with:
  • Higher degree, preferably in Marketing, Communication or equivalent
  • A few years’ experience of similar coordinating tasks in marketing, visual merchandising or point of purchase displays (fulltime or part-time alongside studies)
  • Fluency in English and one other Nordic language

You are a strong communicator who can handle stakeholders at different levels, with different needs. As a person, you strive for constantly developing yourself and thrive when having responsibility. Aspiration for future roles within Marketing or other departments is highly desirable.
