We are looking for two Trade Marketing Specialists in Copenhagen, Denmark. One working with PRO customers & partners and second for our veterinary (VET) clients, covering Sweden & Finland markets.

A day in the life of a Trade Marketing Specialist (covering Sweden & Finland)

For PRO customers
As a Trade Marketing Specialist PRO, you will be responsible for the implementation of all trade marketing actions and other relevant activities in PRO to support business growth and ensure the perfect execution of the priorities.

You will also actively collaborate and support the PRO sales teams to reinforce partnership with PRO customers and partners (breeders, kennel clubs and other relevant organisations). You will also contribute to further development of PRO Marketing business drivers such as prescription, new product launches, promotional plan, merchandising, sponsorships, product's visibility in PRO and support with materials for trainings and other events.

For VET customers
As a Trade Marketing Specialist VET (Veterinarians), you will be responsible for implementing and executing trade marketing activities in VET sales team. You will plan and create new campaigns for the VET channel together with the Key Account Manager and Portfolio Activation team. You will also manage and supervise the VET marketing budget, as well as develop and lead the executing of launches and in-store trade promotions with excellence in the Nordic VET channel. Measure and analyze the results of these plans and activities.

Essential duties and responsibilities
You will also be responsible for the following tasks in both teams:
  • Develop annual trade plans and identify other growth opportunities (incl. tailor made promotions and communication) together with Customer Marketing Manager and Sales Managers
  • Lead the execution of the activities in the annual plans incl. product launches in cooperation with the Sales Managers so the promotions support a sales uplift in the PRO/VET (depending on the team) channel as well as an increase in recruitment KPIs
  • Develop local marketing material incl. any promotional material needed for partners (including translation to 2 languages) both in printed and digital formats
  • Translate insights into convincing trade argumentations and solutions for PRO/VET (depending on the team) customers
  • Drive CRM solutions within the pet owner ecosystem in collaboration with the brand team
  • Measure and analyse the results of the plans and activities aiming for efficiency and efficacy increase
  • Monitor and manage the budget together with Customer Marketing Manager: forecast all expenses and allocate the spend based on prioritization by activity
  • Manage internal and external partners to create impactful and profitable trade marketing materials that support the marketing calendar
  • Coordinate B2B Events including the purchasing of event materials to build a "center of excellence" increasing the efficiency and reduce costs. Covering all B2B events in PRO (Only for PRO position)
What are we looking for?
We are looking for you if you are deeply passionate about marketing, communications, and project management. You are used to take initiative, seek responsibility and drive for the results. Also, you want to be a part of making a better world for pets - especially, cats & dogs.

Ideally You are/have:
  • At least Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Communication or another related field
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in trade marketing from the FMCG environment, preferably within pet trade
  • Managed different projects
  • Ability to create strong relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills - both oral and written
  • Fluent in English and at least one Nordic language (preferably Finnish)
