Nigel Wright is looking for a Key Account Manager to have the responsibility for Bic Nordics' largest customers within wholesale. Our client is currently expanding due to new products and new business relations.
The purpose of the job is to position our client as the most respected and trusted partner to the retail customers within their category through superior knowledge, and to develop and implement portfolio strategies in close corporation with the Category and Marketing teams. The overall purpose is to grow the total category through performance together with our strategic customers. As a member of the Nordic customer team there is also a shared responsibility to drive growth of volume, profit and market share.
The position will report to the Nordic Sales Manager.
Our client is looking for a Key Account Manager who can continue to develop and grow our business within Sweden.
Areas of responsibility You will have overall responsibility for client's development & profitability including:
Responsible for sales and profit budget and cost budget
Streamline and optimize sales processing with affected customers
Strong customer engagement
Responsible for continuously monitoring databases regarding sales & market data
Responsible for presentations to the sales conference
Responsible for the monitoring of key campaigns
Responsible for forecast accuracy
Responsible for updating / follow daily sales
Your responsibilities towards customers will include:
Develop and actively implement the business plan for each chain/customer
Acting contact to the customer in terms of ex activity planning, contract negotiations, product assortment and category projects
Build strong business relationships
Plan customer visits / meetings
Ensure that booked centralized campaigns carried out optimally and monitored on a continuous basis and reviewed with the responsible customer
Promote high cost awareness; proactively ensure that all resources are used cost effectively
Draft proposals for quotes / customer contracts prior to contract negotiations in consultation with manager
Plan and conduct contract negotiations with the customers
Proactively look for areas of improvement of responsible customers and to ensure that actions are taken
Full control over the sales development of responsible customer and proactively develop actions and action plans (gap vs. budget)
BAM/KAM-experience with well proven results
Knowledge about FMCG, retail, wholesales and understanding the customers on the Swedish and Nordic market
Experienced user of Microsoft Office
Experienced in Nilesen/GFK
Fluent in Swedish and very good level in verbal and written English
