Join a Swedish family in a Danish company

You become a part of Nordic Sales Development, where 4 of your colleagues are located in Ballerup, Denmark. Together, we are responsible for category management, shopper marketing and sales development.

While reporting to the Nordic Sales Development Manager, located in Ballerup, your office will be in Halmstad in Sweden. Here, you become part of a small Toms family of 25 colleagues. However, we will make sure that you are properly onboarded in Denmark and become familiar with everyone here. You will meet up with your Danish colleagues a couple of times a month.

"Being part of our team and working in a dynamic FMCG business, you will balance daily tasks and therush of meeting short deadlines as well as working with complex analyses to further develop the Toms business in Sweden," explains Thomas Skyum Poulsen, Nordic Sales Development Manager.

Develop actionable insights

Your primary responsibility is facilitating business development by providing useful insights. To do so, you track and analyse data on categories, retail chains and channels and identify optimisation possibilities across assortment, distribution, price and promotion.
Moreover, we look to you to develop, implement and streamline category management processes and tools across Denmark and Sweden. Specifically, you will:

Analyse performance across the 4 Ps, identifying development opportunities
  • Contribute to the development of shopper insights for the category
  • Develop and implement product range and listing strategies, collaborating with business managers on assortment and space optimisation
  • Develop and implement category projects to grow category sales and profitability in collaboration with Sales and Marketing
  • Act as professional sounding board to business and brand managers
Required profile:

Are you analytical, and do you bring FMCG-experience?

You are a natural at analysing complex data and business contexts with optimisation in mind - and you take a systematic approach to spreadsheets as well as task and time management. In addition, you bring your informed opinion to the table when needed and do not shy away from challenging colleagues if you possess new insights that might be of use to them.

Moreover, we expect you to:
  • Hold a master's degree in economics/business administration or similar
  • Bring a couple of years of experience from FMCG/retail
  • Be MS Office superuser, especially in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Have a sound business understanding and a head for numbers
  • Speak Swedish and English fluently - Danish proficiency is an advantage
Ideally, you also bring experience with category management, conducting analyses and using Nielsen data. However, if you bring the right mindset and background, we will train you to the desired level.
