Job description:

Join one of the world's leading suppliers of windows and doors in a key role as NPDI Project Manager at one of our locations in either Åstorp or Forserum, Sweden or Tallinn, Estonia. You will be part of our Time-to-Market team in Northern Europe, playing a vital part in practising the project management best practices.

Your role

As NPDI Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful initiation, planning and execution of product development implementation projects within the Northern European region at JELD-WEN. Reporting directly to the Head of Time-to-Market for Northern Europe, the scope of the role is to successfully secure professional implementation of product-related projects following the project management best practices. This entails fulfilling the expectations from project objectives, costs and timeframe. You will be part of our Projects Portfolio Management team, where you will drive the continuous improvement of JELD-WEN's Tollgate processes and the efficiency in project execution in time to market. To succeed in this role, you are expected to define project objectives, costs, targets and timeframe with the use of project management best practices together with the principles of change management. You must thrive with the responsibility of facilitating and driving results within a fast-changing and demand-driven environment.

Your responsibilities
  • Lead the project, process and project team with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, cost and innovation (SQDCI)
  • Drive continuous improvements in SQDCI in projects and project management
  • Project Manager for compliance-related projects, new product implementation projects, product changes and optimization projects
  • Project management from initiation until successful closure, including reporting and optimized prioritization regarding costs and resources
  • Work collaboratively with the time-to-market team within Northern Europe in delivering continuous improvement
  • Set up a project, project KPI's and work with a project team to lead the decision-making processes
  • In close collaboration with the project team, identify small and larger opportunities inside and outside the project to further improve JELD-WEN's market position.
  • Following the JELD-WEN purpose and values to build businesses ethically and safely as well as ensuring adherence with all compliance standards
Required profile:

Your skills and experiences
  • Several years of experience from a similar project management role
  • Formalized project management education or the equivalent experience
  • Experience in how to carry change management through the projects
  • Ability to adapt the best project management approach based on need
  • Sound business and process understanding and/or fast learner
  • Solid experience with the project management best practices
  • Excellent PDCA(Plan-Do-Check-Act) closing skills
  • Ability to motivate team members and create a winning team attitude
  • A consistent and proactive approach towards assigned projects and tasks
  • Possess a 'can-do' attitude and strong analytical skills
  • Good communication skills and well-accustomed to working with Microsoft Teams or similar digital communication tools.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is a prerequisite for this role, fluency in a Scandinavian language would be an advantage
