Are you interested in a key position within an innovative and well established company? You, a team player with a large interest for production work in a mechanical workshop, now have the opportunity to join the production department at Chris-Marine in Malmö. At Chris-Marine we develop, produce and sell precision tools and machines used when monitoring and overhauling marine diesel and gas engines in merchant vessels and IC engine power plants.

Our headquarters are located in Malmö with production units in Malmö (Sweden), Bröndby (Denmark) and Hamburg (Germany). We operate globally through sales and service teams, subsidiaries and sales representatives. Our customers are engine designers, engine builders, ship owners, power plants, service workshops and shipyards. We currently have ~110 employees and a turnover of ~20 mEUR.

About the position

In your role as Supply Chain Coordinator you are responsible for coordinating our material internally and externally in our workshop. Furthermore, you will support our Production Supervisor with for instance planning of available resourses in the workshop, purchase of external manufacturing as well as existing administrative tasks. You will also participate in continuous improvement projects together with colleagues from other departments in the company.

About you

We are looking for a person with adequate education within production and with several years of experience of manufacturing in the mechanical workshop industry. Knowledge and practical experince of LEAN Production is meritorious. Furthermore, it is a requirement that you have very good computer skills and solid experience of business systems. We use Microsoft Axapta as our business system. It is important that you master Swedish and English in speech and writing as you will have various contacts, both internationally and nationally.
