What you will do
At Johnson Controls Global Marine Service (GMS), we now have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team in Norrköping as our new Sales Executive Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the sale of Johnson Controls' Marine Products & Services portfolio to maritime fleets operating globally. You will help our customers succeed in maintaining, operating, and optimizing their refrigeration and HVAC cooling equipment.

Johnson Controls Global Marine Service (GMS) is a branch specialized in supplying our customers with innovative service-, retrofit- and parts solutions on a global scale. We are a part of Johnson Controls Marine & Navy, which is a market leader within HVAC/R applications for the marine industry.

How you will do it
Our GMS branch is undertaking an exciting continuous transformation as we move towards developing a more agile, digital and sustainable organization, and we hope that you can contribute to this journey with a curious, dynamic and future-focused mindset and a desire to understand our customers' needs - both now and in the future.

On a daily basis, you will create competitive, high quality and timely estimates, bids, proposals, and cost/benefit analyses, and you will utilize applicable sales tools effectively to plan and document progress on your accounts. You will also help us develop our product portfolio based on customer feedback, so we - in turn - can help power the missions of our customers. On a more strategic level, you will thus seek out, qualify and close simple, large & more complex sales opportunities with a specific focus on new business growth and the establishment of long-term customer relationships and partnerships. Finally, you will build and maintain a network of stakeholders - incl. Project managers, Technicians and Leadership - as well as solicit support from and communicate with the broader Johnson Controls organization to promote customer satisfaction while respecting Johnson Controls strategies, processes and tools.

What we look for
Required
  • Target-driven, proactive and adaptable sales professional skilled in communication and customer centered.
  • Innovative and future-focused mindset with a positive and collaborative attitude.
  • Basic technical flair and curiosity allowing you to operate, understand and advise customers with complex solutions.
  • Fluency in English - written and verbal.
Preferred
  • Knowledge and/or experience within the marine segment and HVAC.
  • Experience as an Engineer (E.g. Commissioning), Project Manager, and/or within technical sales.
