Gazella is now recruiting a driven and analytical Junior Business Controller to the design company Bemz, a private equity owned company operating in an international environment. Bemz is a Stockholm based, global e-commerce company specializing in custom-made design covers and replacement legs for IKEA furniture. The company is on an exciting growth journey where you as Junior Business Controller will participate and contribute to this, in an organization that is characterized by driven employees with high commitment to the business. As Junior Business Controller, your main responsibility at first will be to manage the controlling function, and later on get the opportunity to grow and develop further within the organization.

As a Junior Business Controller at Bemz you will operate in a dynamic and central role in entrepreneurial environment and report directly to the CFO. This is a broad position where you will have a great opportunity to work with business controlling and get a great understanding of what components that will drive profitability, costs and growth. You will act as a Business Partner to the Marketing and Sales department, the Operations department and to the Bemz management team, where your work will provide valuable insights for the success of the company. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to participate in other business-related activities and projects based on your skills and interests, that aligns with the goals of the company.

Your challenge
  • Drive the process of financial forecasting, budgets, business case and preparation of monthly reporting package to the owners, the board of directors, management and organization.
  • Work with sales analyzes, customer and pricing strategies, reporting of sales and other business oriented KPI's.
  • Proactively support the organization and management with sales and business analysis.
  • Developing analysis tools (PowerBI) and reports for better management of the business.
Your Background
For this position, we are looking for a person with an academic degree in finance. You have approximately 1-2 years of experience from business- or sales controlling. Perhaps you have worked in a position within business controlling or as a Management Trainee, during or after your studies, where you have worked close to business and the management team. You are a good user of Excel and earlier experience of PowerBI is an advantage. Previous experience from a transaction-intensive business within retail is also considered an asset. Furthermore, it is meritorious if you have previous experience of working in an entrepreneurial and high-paced organization and that you are used to work broadly with questions that can appear in this kind of environment. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
