Are you an ambitious team player with an interest in the financial markets? We are now seeking a first year analyst to our FICC research and strategy team in Stockholm.

The team is organized within Fixed Income, currencies and commodities (FICC) in Corporates & Institutions. We are responsible for providing advice on fixed income strategies and portfolio management, currency hedging and trading strategies as well as providing macro-economic analysis with the focus on Sweden. Our clients are corporates and financial institutions both in Sweden and abroad. Danske Bank is a leading player in the Nordic fixed income and foreign exchange markets.

Research, sales and trading
As part of the team, you will be involved in day-to-day analytical work and the pitching of trading ideas and advice to our clients, with special focus of the foreign exchange market. As you over time develop your knowledge and expertise, the responsibilities will increase and include more client interaction. You will work closely together with an experienced foreign exchange strategist as your primary mentor. The work environment on the dealing floor is dynamic, international and inclusive, and we collaborate closely with the rest of the teams within Corporates & Institutions.

You will join a successful team of experienced colleagues within research, sales, trading and support. Our clients are predominantly based in Sweden, however, since we are part of a global team the work includes both covering up for travelling colleagues as well as travelling yourself.

As a first year analyst in Danske Bank, this position is an opportunity to accelerate your career as part of an ambitious organization where you are expected to deliver from day 1. You will be on a steep learning curve that enables you to take on added responsibility after your first 12 months. To support your development, we offer personal and professional training activities, networking with other junior analysts as well as exposure to key decision makers. After the 12 months, we will continue to focus on your personal and professional development.

As a challenger on the Swedish market, Danske Bank is characterized by an entrepreneurial and innovative mindset. We are looking for employees who always strive to develop themselves and our organization. If you enjoy challenges and constantly want to develop your career, we offer you a high level of responsibility, as well as an inspiring team and committed managers who encourage you to grow. We offer you an inclusive work environment where you will contribute to our success, today and in the future.

Who are you?
You may have a strong academic background and a degree in finance/economics/mathematical economics. Work experience from the financial industry is helpful but not a must; however, an underlying interest in and willingness to learn about financial markets is a must. Fluency in Swedish and English is a requirement. Furthermore, you're also an experienced and advanced user of Excel and Powerpoint. Additional programming skills are meritorious and an interest in sustainability issues and financing is positively viewed upon.

We expect you to be a team player, with a personal drive and ambition to deliver best advice to our clients.
