The Solutions Sales Team provide professional services consultancy to our clients, working with them to identify their current and future business needs and build and deliver robust solutions that will support the future success and growth of their businesses.

The Solution Sales Specialist provides expert sales skills to successfully position and close Insight Digital Workspace offerings with C-level client decision makers.

The Solution Sales Specialist is highly experienced, poised and fluent in understanding client pain points and positioning Digital Workspace value propositions to them.

This position holder works collaboratively across Insight's sales divisions and technical services teams to proactively identify and pursue opportunities, providing the high level of business acumen and leadership required to deliver successful outcomes for both Insight and our clients.

Job description:

Professional Knowledge and Expertise
* Engage with C-Level and key decision makers to sell the value proposition for changing and modernizing ways of working in organizations, able to articulate why and how organizations can increase workforce productivity to attract the next generation of talent

Client Facing and Professional Consultancy
  • Establish a professional, working, and consultative, relationship with the client key stakeholders, by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the client within their industry and map these to Insight's key capabilities and services
  • Drive a value selling approach to key stakeholders to sell the value proposition for changing and modernizing ways of working in organizations
  • Present an intelligent end-to-end solution offer based on understanding client pain points. Initiate and execute Digital Workspace Workshops to demonstrate and quality solution benefits and converts opportunities into deal wins
  • Owns opportunities generation, supports the development of client proposals and partners with Insight's Sales & Consulting Team. As part of the pre-sales engagement the role holder will execute Proof of Concepts to increase win rate
  • Engage with colleagues from Digital Workspace and Client Adoption teams to present Insight's end-to-end approach to clients. This will kickstart the embedding of new ways of working in the Insight workforce, leading to an increase in attachment of Professional Consulting and Managed Service offering in all sales engagements
Management of Pipeline
  • Establish strong partnerships with sales teams to share knowledge on pipeline opportunities and drive increased deal closure rates. Take leadership in ensuring that the sales pipeline management system is up to date and accurate
  • Build and maintain client relationships alongside the account team, ensuring the client is satisfied in their interaction with Insight Services & Solutions, in turn driving an enhanced client relationship and additional opportunities
  • Actively participate in new business generation initiatives from existing and prospective clients as required
Sales Enablement
* Proactively support and nurture the sales divisions and teammates by instilling a value selling mentality and approach with the sales account teams

Required profile:
  • Extensive experience of successfully selling Microsoft Digital Workspace solutions and services into medium-large organisations. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft technology and O365
  • Extensive client facing sales experience with C-Level stakeholders; able to win client confidence, deliver client demonstrations with credibility and professional authority and own the sales cycle for complicated solutions
  • Experience in value selling approach: identify client requirements and map these to an Intelligent Solution offering which drives change processes to modernize the way people work
  • Outstanding presentation skills and demonstrable gravitas. Demonstrable examples of engaging with high profile client organisations at a Senior/ CxO level
  • Experience scoping, managing and executing client Proof of Concepts and Insight Assessment Services to drive sales cycles
  • Previous IT industry experience
  • Self-Starter able to take ownership of their personal development and maintain up to date professional knowledge
  • A team player who can engage and work successfully within a supportive and diverse team structure including both technical and sales teams in multiple locations
  • Commercially astute. High level of business acumen to understand the client's current and future challenges
  • Ability to write detailed and complex business cases and proposals and clearly communicate these to clients
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
