We are looking for a commercially oriented leader with interest in the motorcycle industry who can develop our product information processes, data structures and organization. The Product Information Manager is a key role that operates at the heart of our commercial organization and that impacts anything from customer experiences and how we sell our products on our websites, to how we ensure product master data drives automation in our logistical operation.

As a Product Information Manager, you are leading a team of Product Experts and Product Data Associates of 15-20 people. You will be responsible for optimizing productivity within the team without compromising on quality. This will require to redesign processes, tweak the current ways of working and to find opportunities to automate steps in the process. You will play a central role in the complete product chain from data creation to publishing, therefore we have high expectations on your coordinating skills across multiple departments and functions. The Product Information Manager is ultimately responsible for the structure, completeness, accuracy and quality of our product data. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with PIM tools and can balance the short term need to hit operational KPI's with the longer term implementation of a broader product information strategy.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Organize and drive the day to day operations in product information
  • Prioritize workload for the team
  • Monitor and track KPI's
  • Monitor data quality issues and address root causes for these issues to appear
  • Build relations and work cross-functionally with various internal and external stakeholders to complete competing priorities
  • Define and initiate activities to execute the broader corporate data strategy and vision
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, review end-to-end processes and workflows
  • Monitor and develop data quality in our Fit My Bike system.
Desired Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or IT discipline; or relevant experience
  • 3+ years' experience managing product data, data Management, data quality
  • Experience in working with PIM systems
  • Operated in a setting where product data was the key driver behind online customer experiences, data feeds and automation
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload effectively
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • 3+ years of experience in a team leadership role
  • Proven ability to coordinate cross functional teams of IT professionals, business executives, external suppliers and other key stakeholders towards common goals and objectives
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, quantify and highlight business risks associated with data quality
  • Strong excel skills
  • Motorcycle industry experience highly desired
  • Good command of English as our working language
