My name is Lena Berlin Stålhammar and I work for, in my opinion, a truly great company called Schibsted! Hopefully, you have heard of us, but if not, I'm pretty sure you have heard of some of our great brands - Aftonbladet, VG, Lendo,, Prisjakt, Blocket and many more.

I'm responsible for Talent Acquisition in Schibsted, a team of 10+ brilliant people, working with recruitment and employer branding in Oslo, Stockholm, Krakow and Gdansk, across our brands. We are the link between the hiring manager and the candidate and we believe that by giving the best possible experience (both for the manager and the candidate), and through amazing talents, we will bring value to the business.

Now, I'm looking for someone to partner up with, who will be the expert in product & tech recruitment. Together we'll drive Talent Acquisition to be all the things that we dream of!

The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for the development of tech recruitment strategies, recruiting plans, sourcing strategies as well as developing new innovative recruitment approaches. This role is also responsible for providing strategic recruitment support to the tech organization of Schibsted. Strong stakeholder management is crucial as you will interface with business leaders to deliver qualified talent to fill critical roles. You will also play a big part in our EVP work and Employer Branding, both strategically and operationally.

You will lead and develop a team of technical recruiters located in Oslo, Stockholm, Krakow, and Gdansk.

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of tech recruiters.
  • Develop, implement and follow up on recruiting strategies
  • Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and business leaders to understand hiring forecasts and recruiting priorities and to fill critical hiring needs in a timely manner.
  • Identify and manage stakeholders and influencers to accelerate and manage the recruitment process.
  • Drive recruiting activity for aligned groups for their technical professional hiring needs.
  • Coach managers/interviewers
  • Proactively research new recruitment methodologies, competitive intelligence to create innovative sourcing strategies. Conduct external benchmarking to understand competitive recruiting landscape and influence best practices with team and stakeholders.
  • Participate in and/or lead diversity recruiting strategies to attract a diverse workforce to Schibsted by hiring talented people of varied backgrounds, experiences, and styles.
  • Meet/exceed key recruiting performance metrics.
  • Organize, together with your TA colleagues, and attend internal and external events (Meetups, Hackathons, Coding Dojos, and conferences)
  • Work together with colleagues in the Talent Acquisition team and the HR community on common projects and contribute to our development as a function.
  • Deliver comprehensive support and consultation to business and hiring managers in full life-cycle recruitment process.
  • Ensure we always perform at our best and deliver on excellent candidate experience.
Who I think you are:
  • At least 5 years of demonstrated full life cycle recruiting experience, preferable within product & tech recruitment.
  • Experience in formal management is a big plus. But most of all you are a truly T-shaped leader with a great passion for your people. Always with ambition do develop and motivate your team.
  • You are a collaborator and are engaged in other areas but your own expertise.
  • You have excellent skills in networking and building trust and relationships with stakeholders and people around you.
  • You have experience of developing and implementing recruiting strategies and you have the ability to see the bigger picture.
  • You have an agile mindset and strive to always improve the way we do things.
  • Great organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively in meetings, email, and discussions.
  • Data-driven. You love to use data as a way of analyzing, measuring, improving, developing and moving things forward.
  • Fluent in English and Swedish - or Norweigan

Traveling between our Product & tech hubs will be required.
