Do you have minimum 3 years of experience from developing strong brands within the FMCG industry? Do you have project management abilities, drive for results and strong digital communication skills? Then you might be our new colleague!


The Brand Manager will have a clear responsibility for some of our strong brands within the confectionery segment and will actively cooperate with the Marketing Managers in driving our market leading brands forward. Local transition of global content and strategies with the use of social media will be an important factor to succeed in this role.

Apart from leading digital communication to support brand development it is also of great importance to interact closely with colleagues in marketing and sales. Discussions and proposals need to be based on consumer insight and your analytical skills.

Essential duties and responsibilities
  • Responsible for driving some of our key brands within the confectionery segment.
  • Involve internal resources effectively to maintain and develop our leading market position.
  • Adopt global Brand Concepts to fit the nordic market and social media channels.
  • Actively participate in internal forums to develop actions and improvements.
  • Engage external stakeholders such as creative and media buying agencies.
  • Execution of our Brand Strategies based on consumer insights

This is a permanent role starting as soon as possible. The Brand Manager will report directly to the segments Nordic Marketing Director. The position is placed at Mars Nordics office in Ørestad (just minutes outside the centre of Copenhagen and 25 minutes from Malmö C), but includes 15-20 days of travelling per year.


Education/Training/ Other:
  • Fluent in English and one of the Nordic languages
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in marketing, economics or equivalent
  • Advanced skills in MS Office and social digital platforms
Related Experience/Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of FMCG marketing experience
  • Project Management
  • Product portfolio management
Personal traits:
  • A high level of problem solving based on factual information
  • Drive for results with ability to make projects progress
  • Strong in communication with the ability to sell in ideas
  • Team player and co-operation skills
